Much awaited BE Update

Well since the FLAUNT party...lots has happened with the store!!

In May, A&E came in and did a business makeover...well more of a cosmetic makeover but still none the less a makeover. Bill Rancic, from the Apprentice, was our "business guru" and we had an interior designer and a technology expert come in and makeover the show. Thanks to DELL computers, we have a whole new look....check it out... better pictures will come but this is what I have so far. It looks GREAT!!!

The the unreal reality of reality TV made it seem worse than it really is...i LOVE EDITING!

Since then, Shelley and Lindsay have left, and Todd has gone on to pursue his Real Estate career. So, I have TraMayne, John and Natalie that work here now....when you call to place your order you will more than likely end up talking to one of them!!

Flaunt it!

Hey all!

It has been a while since I have written anything on our site. Sorry. Been dipping berries.

So, last night, Amy (the owner) and I went to an event for Flaunt Magazine. Andrew is the event coordinator for Flaunt. I met Andrew through my friend Asher. I had a party and Amy and Andrew met and history was made. We went to the event and provided our wonderful treats for the masses. I so wish I could tell you more of what the event was for.... but I seriously never got that information. It was at the W, there was Hennessy, there were really pretty people there... it WAS an LA event. Do I need to say specifics? Really?

Anyway.... I took some pictures and I thought I would share.

The Scene:



This is the pool/cabana area of the hotel. Amy and I could REALLY imagine hanging out, drinking frou-frou drinks with cute boys in loin clothes.....



the bar... this is where we hung out... need I say anything else. no.



and of course... the piece de resistance... our berries and treats looking LOVELY all around the place!




So, that was our latest event. Sorry there weren't more pictures of when the party got really started... but we were schmoozing. I mean it is LA....

Hey people!

Welcome to the new Berry Elegance blog! WoooooooHooooooooo

We started this so you can read about what's new in the store, comments on our products, daily musings about life in the berry-dipping fast lane... and believe you me, it is speedy. And by speedy, I mean, I have time to write a blog. But the hope is that this will get you all thinking about our delicious treats, then it will get you ordering our delicious treats, and then I will not have time to write a blog. See.

The other thing you may see on this are the random thoughts by myself, Shelley, and my lovely co-worker, Lindsey. No matter what is happening here, whatever we are working on, we MUST be doing it while laughing. Cause why would you do anything in life that does not involve a little laughter? What makes us laugh.... first and foremost, TINY kittens. More will be explained about this at a later time. Other things: GalaxyQuest, "go ahead", making nicknames, bah-scuze-me, "I would eat that, if I liked food", MurMur, ChristineChristina, "is that biscotti?", can I have regular chocolate?, me as well... and pretty much we start talking and then. we. laugh.

The store is owned by two great people, Amy and Todd. Try as hard as we can, and we feel awful about it, but we just don't get Todd's jokes. Amy laughs with us. Not against us. They allow us to have a great time, which means everyone here are friends. Hopefully, you will be able to read our stories, comment and learn about the dramatic, vicious, underbelly of the berry dipping world!
